Three picnic benches have been purchased by the Parish Council for the allotments and leisure field. Bedale Villages Forum assisted with funding for this project.
With the assistance of North Yorkshire Council's Locality Budget and funding from the Community Infrastructure Levy the Parish Council has purchased two Visual Display Units .One is sited in Church Wynd and the other is in Bedale Road. The signs not only warn drivers to drive within the speed limit but also collects vital data on the number of cars being driven through the village and the speed of each car. The Parish Council has set up a site for allotment plots at the bottom of the the leisure field behind the School in Burneston which have proved very popular. At present there are no Plots available, however, if you are interested in going on a waiting list please contact the Parish Clerk for details if you are interested. HAPPY GARDENING!!
