VISUAL DISPLAY UNITS IN BURNESTON

With the assistance of North Yorkshire Council's Locality Budget and funding from the Community Infrastructure Levy the Parish Council has purchased two Visual Display Units .One is sited in Church Wynd and the other is in Bedale Road.  The signs not only warn drivers to drive within the speed limit but also collects vital data on the number of cars being driven through the village and the speed of each car.  This will greatly assist the Police should any further action be required.
